Five layers of evidence

Every finding belongs to a layer, and the lower the layer, the less it can say. The app shows the layer on every line.

What it will never do

No accuracy percentages. There isn't one, anywhere.
No guessing at text. Documents are read for declared provenance only — statistical "AI writing" detection systematically misflags non-native writers, so it is permanently excluded.
No accusations. A result describes a file, never a person.
No claim a file was cropped. When an image is too small to check, it says exactly that.

Checking is entirely on-device. The file you check is never uploaded — there is no account and no server that holds your content. The app sends anonymous usage statistics (which screens are opened, what kind of result a check produced) and nothing else. See the privacy policy.
